B.B.

B.B. – 50% Highland, 50% Hereford Cow

42″ at the hock

B.B. has a unique, quiet personality in our herd.  She loves human interaction, but is very polite about it. She is one of our friendliest cows, and is always one of the first to greet you at the gate.  She is a natural mother, and had a very easy birth with her first calf in 2023.  She is bred back to our Highland Bull, Rusty.

Raspberry

Raspberry – 50% Highland, 50% Red Angus

42″ at the hock

Raspberry is a 2021, naturally polled heifer. She has been shown previously, and is AHCA Sovereign Cross. Nothing gets Raspberry worked-up, and she loves to cuddle with everybody.  She was a natural mother and calved without any trouble with her first calf in 2023.  She is bred back to our Highland Bull, Rusty. Rasberry does have frosting, and her calf developed the same frosting at about 4 months of age.

Iowa Sue

Iowa Sue – 100% Red Highland

40″ at the hock

Guess which state we got this calf in? Iowa Sue was purchased from Highlands of the Heartland as one of their 2022 calves. She is a small, stocky girl that we dehorned. She has been registered with HHCA. Sue has a great personality, and is a real cuddle baby.  She is barely 40″, and is a mini size highland.

Calf Pricing

Prices on our calves vary depending on breed, color, color of markings, estimated maturity height based on parents and sex of the calf.  Typically, we have a crop of calves every Fall.

Price of calves includes: Vaccinations and 4 weeks of hands on socialization preparing them for their new home.

Calves are weaned at 4 months. We strive to keep the weaning process as low-stress as possible. The calf will then be handled, worked on the halter, socialized, and groomed.  Our goal is that every calf leaves our farm gentle, sweet, and ready to be handled in their new home.
